How do you look at life?

How you look at life is how you experience life – regardless if it’s real or true.

We make us our own real or true world – M.D. Garbrick explains it like this:

“Should one look through a red glass at a white lily, he would seem to see a red lily. But there would be no red lily. So it is with humanity’s problems. They consist of false mental pictures.”

This reminds me of something my mother used to say, “Are you looking at things with rose colored glasses on?”

Sometimes I think it’s not a bad thing to do – seeing the world in a warmer shade is sometimes a cool thing to do – however not knowing I’m doing it may be what Garbrick warns of –

The world I live in is colored by my perceptions – are they positive of negative?

Today think about how you’re looking at things – like email – we read it from the mood we’re in – when we drive, we perceive other drivers from our state,

Today, my challenge for you is this – can you clean your lens – Can you smile or breath before reading, interacting and speaking?

Can you color your vision with positive light if you color it at all?

Of course you can – will you?

You Create Your Day by the way You Think! Be Present!

Go make it a Magnificent Day!
