People Skills: What are you doing it for?

Sometimes I find myself wondering how I got myself into a situation… you know, like going to an appointment where you have no idea what the agenda is and why you’re needed there. Or cleaning something you can not remember the reason for buying…

Since the holidays are just finished – did you think as you were putting away the decorations that you had more than you needed? Or you wondered how some of these items got into your house?

A good question today – on this last Friday of the  first week of the year is this: What am I doing this for? Another one is: Who am I doing this for?

If your answer is a good one – then the meeting, cleaning or putting away can be joyous, confirming and nice.

If your answer is – “I have no idea why.” then now is the time to decline the meeting, declutter some items or take the items to charity.

Because when you’re clear about what and why you do and have – you are better with yourself and with others in your life.

Go ahead – ask these questions all day today – surprise yourself with answers and take actions –

Remember, You create your day by the way you think! Make it magnificent.
