People Skills: Learning to Learn

In our week of the theme learning I think it’s important to remember that it’s all a process – that if we look at learning and something to do – we miss the bigger and best part.

Today – watch your words – be a word watcher for phrases like, “I’ve learned that already.” Or “When will the lessons be over?” or “I already got my education, or degree, or certificate.”

It’s the learning after the learning and during the learning and prior to the learning that sets our life and success.

Daniel Bell said this, “To think of learning as a preparation for something beyond learning is a defeat of the process. The most important attitude that can be formed is that of desire to go on learning,”
