Keep up with your character

The end of the week on character and modeling – we’ve discussed kindness, compassion and discernment – we’ve discussed that it’s all about who you are now, and how you are today, this week and the long-continued process you create.

Who in your life exemplifies the best character you know? Is it a business person? A volunteer or a parent or teacher that comes to mind? When you are aware of all the unique and wonderful characters that influence each of us – it’s easier to understand how vital the part you play is.

This week as we’ve been sharing about character, my husband Don told me that one particular man whom he admires keeps coming to his mind.

We all have people like that in our minds, people who when we stop to think about it, are true examples of great character. I challenge you to continue to focus on good character – and to somehow tell the people that come to your mind that you notice, you see them, that they are a model for you.
You create your day by the way you think! Make it magnificent!
